It's Tuesday... I wish I had a more witty line to start this post, but the creative juices aren't quite there. Today I did some babysitting, did a workout and got my nails and hair done. Not quite a cure to heartbreak, but it helps a little.
I tried sticking with the Crazy Sexy Diet cleanse plan, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. The book has some great information that has made an impact on my commitment to my nutrition. It has also reinforced my desire to cut out meat. My goal is 21 days no meat and that is probably the only part of the cleanse I'll stick with. I find that just veggies isn't enough to maintain my body type and level of activity. I also find that juice and smoothies are not always enough for breakfast... I love my breakfast and have always believed it is the most important and (should be) biggest meal of the day.
I'm no nutrition expert, this is my personal opinion. I love the information and healthy vegan perspective Kris provides in the Crazy Sexy Diet, but it's a little extreme. Diet is always about balance, but is also about knowing your body and what feels/works best.
I did a short circuit workout today... nothing extraordinary, but it did the trick. I'm currently watching this movie about saving whales stuck in the ice and it is riveting. I'm really enjoying it. So, I'm gunna finish the movie, watch another one and do some homework. Not super exciting, but its the little things.
